The receptionist speaks good English.We appreciate the nice bear- faced buns that were given to our kids.

There was visible small fibre/dust floating in the air inside the room.

The owner is very helpful, approachable and accommodating. We had a wonderful 2 days stay and the breakfast, though simple, is very welcoming and satisfying. The tatami room is comfortable by our standard. Thank you.

The owner was kind enough to give us a room with 4 futon beds even we booked a triple room. Breakfast was basic but enough as a kick start of a day and the owner was kind enough to let 4 of us to enjoy the breakfast. We didn't expect the room to be bigger than we thought for the price we paid and it has everything we need. Very near to morning market which has plenty of great food. Near to JR station. Will sure choose this hotel if we visit the town again.

The Japanese style rooms were fitted with tatami mats, guests were able to reserve exclusive ofuro for a time period, which made up for the small toilet size in the room. The sign above the hotel is very big and we could find the hotel from afar. It was close to the station as well as the bus terminal, which made traveling around the city a breeze.

The toilet is very small, room was slightly dusty (probably has not been used for some days), and soundproofing was bad (you could hear people opening their doors and talking on the corridor).

In Kikuya, is nice to stay for city traveling, is near both bus and train station in the reasonable price when compare with others. Good for backpacker. Front also nice with English speaking (simple conversation) and kind.
